Taryn Marshall
Student Geologist
Taryn joined Orix in 2019 as a scanning technician and has since grown her skill sets to include all facets of the historical document scanning process including inventory, prepping, QAQC, data set clean up, and paper data organization. She also has gained experience outside of the scanning department working on geological data entry and data analysis. In the last year, she started gaining experience in the field, supporting a drill program with geoteching duties such as core cutting, assay sampling and prep, and core data collection. She holds an advanced diploma in classical music performance, and a certificate in environmental field techniques from Cambrian College.
She is also a sewist and loves fishing.
