Mike Kilbourne has over 35 years’ experience in the mining industry exploring for precious and base metals within Canadian greenstone belts. Mike also has significant experience in mining with underground narrow vein, underground bulk and open-pit production in gold, open-pit production and short/long term mine planning in the aggregate industry. Prior to joining Orix, Mike worked for BP Minerals, BP Selco, Minroc Management, Royal Oak Mines, Mine Development Associates, Lehigh Cement, and Billiken Management. He also held the positions of President for White Pine Resources, VP of Exploration for Goldstone Resources, and Senior Geologist for Superior Copper. Mike was part of the team on the discovery hole of the Eagle’s Nest Ni-Cu-PGE Deposit in 2007 in the ‘Ring of Fire’ for Noront Resources.

Mike enjoys a good hunting season and long rides on his motorcycle.
