Massi Alimohammadi

PhD, M.Sc.

Geologist

Massi joined the Sudbury office in 2021 as a Geologist. Prior to joining Orix, she gained several years of experience in GIS and remote sensing at the Geological Survey of Iran, where she developed valuable expertise in mapping hydrothermal alteration zones through satellite image processing. She earned her PhD in Economic Geology in 2016 through a collaborative program between Laurentian University in Sudbury and Beheshti University in Iran. Her research focused on mineral chemistry, hydrothermal systems, and alteration assemblages in porphyry copper deposits. Her findings have been published in multiple scientific journals.

Outside of work, Massi is an avid volleyball player and enjoys camping.
